Here we go again.
Mediocre record, bid to a tourney we need to pay for, and too cheap to play in it due to the fact the real basketball fan realizes this coach does not have it therefore they do not attend games.
No fundamentals, no tenacity, no discipline no winning program.
Here's a crazy idea...if you are missing threes, show discipline and drive versus shoot. Or go ahead and go 5 for 27. My grandfather could have went 5-27.
A team tearing up your man to man? Go aggressive zone or full court pressure.
I probably won't watch them again, as I already no the outcome.

Attendance has been better. Winning at home in the league has helped. A few giveaways too. However like all schools our official attendance is tickets sold not butts in seats so the numbers are a little inflated.
11 games left in the regular season. We have to go 7-4 to have a shot at a bye. Starts tomorrow. Let’s see if we can play a complete game with good D, rebound, decent shooting, low turnovers, share the ball and balanced scoring. Not too much to ask, right? 😎

I guess I'm not a real basketball fan.

I guess I'm not a real basketball fan. Our beloved alma mater is doing it’s darndest to drive the basketball and football fan out of all of us.

For those of you who do go to the games, many, many props. You ARE true Cardinal supporters.
It has to be frustrating as hell to watch Dim Whit's lack of discipline unfold.

And by the way, I don't know if you remaining BSU basketball fans can hear it yet or not, but they are making those hawking sounds again and you're going to get another Whitford extension full in your faces.

I have missed three homes games this season...just not interested in watching another mediocre (at best) team. Seven years is enough of Dim Whitt.

It is now February. We will have a nice stretch, get on a decent streak and things will start to look promising before our end of Feb-Early March collapse. It happens every year with this staff

It happens every year with this staff Seems like it's happened often since 2004-05 when they started 7-2 in the MAC, ended up 10-8 with a play in loss @ BG.

There is no doubt its swoon season. Got to win out at home and at least go .500 on the road. Since we are a seriously inconsistent offensive threat, I have my doubts this February will be any different.

But we’ll win enough to get whit extended again. I'm more optimistic that we will just have to endure one more year of Whitford. I think the lack of recruiting this year (no folks we aren't getting anyone decent in the spring) will make it obvious that the program is only going to get worse under Whitford. Next year's record should be a total disaster. Even an extremely weak non-conference schedule will not save Whitford next year. A one year buyout is pretty much a normal severance package. I'm looking forward to a chance of the BSU getting a new coach and getting better in the spring of 2021.

Normal? You think we have normal University budgeting over the next few years?
