Didn’t their second best player adios? Yep. So other guys step up and they keep going. Imagine that.

BG with almost the worst collapse I’ve ever seen. Credit to Ball State for fighting at the end. I wish they could show more of that throughout the game.

Didn’t their second best player adios? Just like KJ did on us.

Didn’t their second best player adios? Just like KJ did on us. Except KJ wasn’t doing much when he was playing.

Whit has the team’s best interests in mind by not endangering Walton with superfluous playing time.

The swoon has begun? No defense most of the game. Kroft played and didn't look too bad. Did Whitt just rediscover him? Played with a newer lens today at Worthen. adobe.ly/2UWDlZA

Yes coming back when your down 19 with under 4 minutes left is too late. They were going toe to toe with BG most of the first half, and then we went into one of our patented offensive swoons. There were some crummy calls that took them out of sync, but even the most homer refs in the world couldn't have rebounded the basketball for us today. The rally at the end was fluky, but kept things interesting til the final seconds. Papa John in the House today along with Whitlock and a couple other football guys.

Any particular reason for the high profile alums?

Not sure. JW was the only one introduced and it sounded as if the others were his guests courtside. BSU shies away from anything remotely controversial, so I don't imagine they were about to invite Schnatter and then hype it up.

Any particular reason for the high profile alums? Goetz, anticipating an egg-laying, wanted some alums with funds in attendance to experience the disappointment in an effort to convince them to fund the buyout.

They just kind of did what they wanted to us today. A couple bad calls in the first half but you cant blame those for the outcome. We did not quit and made it look better than it really was

We got away with some fouls on the press during the rally so it evens out.
Our d just wasn’t good today. And we lack the kind of baller on offense like Turner. Man he’s good.

We also got manhandled on the glass. It really gets old that the best teams in the conference beat our ass on the offensive glass. As a coach, I preached that you have to be a great defensive rebounding team to be successful. You lock people up in the half court and you allow only one shot per possession, you WILL be successful.
