Not sure. JW was the only one introduced and it sounded as if the others were his guests courtside. BSU shies away from anything remotely controversial, so I don't imagine they were about to invite Schnatter and then hype it up. Jason is a huge friend of Ball State and Papa was his guest. There is zero chance the U would recognize or intro him since they thumbed their noses at him and pulled his endowment. Such a chicken shit move. There was Schnatter sitting court side with one one of our most prominent black alums and several black football alums. What a racist.

We also got manhandled on the glass. It really gets old that the best teams in the conference beat our ass on the offensive glass. As a coach, I preached that you have to be a great defensive rebounding team to be successful. You lock people up in the half court and you allow only one shot per possession, you WILL be successful. Whitford refuses to teach blocking out. Heck, we don't even block out the shooter on FT's!

Turner could have scored 50+ if he wanted to totally take over. We had no answer for him, and our guys get too selfish and streetball-ish, which gets us away from our strength, Teague.

The swoon has begun? No defense most of the game. Kroft played and didn't look too bad. Did Whitt just rediscover him? Played with a newer lens today at Worthen. adobe.ly/2UWDlZANice pictures

BG with almost the worst collapse I’ve ever seen. Credit to Ball State for fighting at the end. I wish they could show more of that throughout the game. I was so mad! First having to park forever from the arena while passing row after row of empty parking spaces by the arena-Drive 2.45 hours! Then watch a game where BG came to play and the Cards stayed in the locker room until the last four minutes of the game. Sad. Do I go next weekend? The parking issue alone says NO! Let people park near the arena for God’s sake. At ND you park almost by the front door - for FREE! Supporting the Cards, yes! But I’ll get pissed again by the parking issue. The AD needs to get his head out of his ass and open up all the parking surrounding the arena. Makes people want to just stay at home and watch it onTV-especially if you make it so tough to get to the arena- WHY!

All you need to do is cough up $800 to $1,500 for your CVC membership to get one of those primo spots. Notre Dame doesn't have to worry about collecting money, but at BSU they gotta give people something for their money and the cheapest thing is a parking spot. And to make them feel more special, the more they give, the better spot they get. On the other hand, I don't know why they can't include the parking in the CVC membership package but make the spots available only to those who reserve them. That way spots aren't left open for people who have no intention of using them. Or maybe they already do that.

As Sherm, and Cardfan, and Calling BS and Rob and Reevo and Lmills and Proctorp and virtually every fan with a pulse and without their nose crammed up Whitfords ass have noted HUNDREDS if not thousands of times, this is like a Groundhog Day remix. Every year the same show just different players. I love our athletes, for the most part, and I really like our assistant coaches this year but our HC is clueless and his system or process or whatever the hell you wanna call it is just not going to get it done. Good luck to Rich Maloney and our baseball Cards. Excellent coach and a program to follow. Play ball!

From the SP article “Whitford doesn’t see Ball State’s search for consistent play over the course of a full game as an issue, though.”
There ya go.

A few games over .500 and a second round exit in the MAC tournament. An extension for Whitford will be in order.

But it’s not an issue.

david75bsu is totally right about the parking issues. It is an insult to all paying fans and season ticket holders to park away from the Arena as we do. The whole game experience is pathetic- to the parking issue, the student and alumni "support" and to the mediocre program we watch.
