Very sad. Loved listening to Morry, especially the football games. "Riley to Riley, really". Circa late 80's.
RIP Morry

Sure does. Had Morry as a teacher in 1967 a Muncie Central public speaking class. He was pretty cool teacher. Legend

Great guy. First met him at the fraternity. He was our finance guy and was handling the refinancing of the house. He also knew my Dad from his insurance days. Would always say hi at the BBall games. Will be missed.
A Muncie legend for sure.

Morry will always be a part of Ball State sports in my mind he was the voice when I was in school and the voice of Ball State long their after. When I would hear Morry on the radio I felt like I was a part of the crowd their watching the game. He was the voice of our Cardinals and he will be greatly missed.

Chris Shelton is one of my all time favorites and a member of the not-remembered-well-enough team for some reason. He held the all-time record for career assists at one time...maybe still does?
Back in the day, his hair looked something like this:

Morry was probably the most dedicated fan Ball State University ever had or will have. It was great to listen to the games win lose or draw with Morry at the mike. He is one that will be not be forgotten for sure.
