They have already announced all spring sport seniors will be granted another year.. Still discussing winter I'm kinda torn on this. For men's basketball you're making this decision for 25-30% of teams which were going to play maybe 3-4 more games at most. Everybody else's season was basically already over. Swimming and Diving? Season basically over. Gymnastics? Season basically over. Is men's volleyball considered a winter or spring sport. I assume winter, but they still had a lot of matches to play, so I'd be agreeable to granting VB seniors another year. Everybody else, I'm kinda feeling you're done. Is it about a college education or basketball? It is sad the team didn’t get to finish the season and maybe prove they were the best in the MAC. it’s sad Teague didn't get a chance to be MVP. However, as they will learn, this is what will play out in the rest of the years of their life - most times you get what you’ve earned, sometimes you don’t. That’s OK.

From the standpoint of the governing body of college sports? It's definitely about basketball.
