We can't shut down this board at this critical moment.
I will reveal now that this board is actually a deep cover DARPA project designed to elicit the stupidest and worst ideas on various subjects. It's been working better than anyone thought possible, by the way. It provides guidance for high-level government decision makers by pointing out what NOT to do and believe about things. I wonder if the President could have been confused, not read the briefing about it thoroughly, or at all, and actually uses it for high level decisions. No, I don't think he is. Otherwise he would have the slogan "Make America as Mediocre as Possible"

It was during a private conversation that the president told the head of the CDC that his outlook on COVID-19 was BSUish.

No, I don't think he is. Otherwise he would have the slogan "Make America as Mediocre as Possible" I do like the ring of "Make BSU basketball great again" It does have a ring to it.
Still. I am having trouble conflating memory of the leadership of our rotund outspoken unconventional basketball messiah and the current national leader who is a prolific author of slogans and memes, although somewhat similarly obese and unfiltered in speech. The one would certainly would not give up a messy handful of ribs for a keyboard to create slogans. He had the genius to actually do things to make the vision real. The other with the brash confident claims and ego without much knowledge whereof he speaks seems more similar to Ronnie Thompson.
I guess I am more afraid of the Program running out of basketballs while the fearless leader cries out "foul" about plots from within, traitorous reporters, blames the past coach, and when something goes wrong refuses to take any responsibility since it is either somebody else's fault or a case of disloyal support of his vision, more afraid of all that than I am confident that creating a slogan creates success.
