Tim Brown was The Cardinal in the NFL for years. My high school football coach played with him at Ball State and told many funny stories about him. A great athlete and man. We all salute you Timmy.

Ironically, the movie M*A*S*H and the TV show based on it both had former NFL players from Indiana who played the character Dr. Oliver "Spearchucker" Jones.
Fred "The Hammer" Williamson (in the movie) was from Gary, IN, and Timothy Brown (in the TV show) was from Richmond, IN.
Tim Brown changed his name to Timothy Brown when he became an actor, so that people would not confuse him and Jim Brown, the NFL HOFamer.
Timothy Brown also appeared in M*A*S*H, the movie, as Corporal Judson. He and Gary Burghoff (Radar O'Reilly), were the only actors to appear in the movie, and the TV show.
