man you guys assume these guys are going to do something.. Ill wait till I see them doing something.. The only thing we know is that Jones has averaged 10 a game before in the MAC so I guess we can expect that Reggie likes to shoot. He's averaging more than 10 by default.

Speaking from my upside, I feel between Hendricks and Huggins we will be ok in the middle - an addition is always good, and in our case needed. In all other positions, I think we will be ok. The transfers to date seem ok. We have two more scholarships and I would like to see them used more wisely. However, this late in the game I am not sure that is possible. As always, a Big Cardinal fan.

What are you basing us being ok in the middle on since neither kid has really played and we have no idea when they’ll be good enough to be a factor in the middle?

I see us playing pretty much the same as last year personnel wise up front with Hazen, Thomas, Gunn and Jones.
Even Mr. Optimistic (Hunsaker) says Huggins won't cut it and Hendriks is merely a role player.
Based on his glowing analysis of our latest recruits, that's basically the death knell from him regarding those two.

We need another big guy. I prefer either a JC or grad transfer who can play some. At this point in time I would even take Gavin Bizeau who would probably be eligible at the end of the 1st semester. Yes I know he is a thin big who shoots from outside but I think he is better than what we have & if his girlfriend is still at BSU might be a Whit recruit.

Since Bizeau was dismissed from Toledo, I wonder if the rules for in-conference transfers would still apply.

Since Bizeau was dismissed from Toledo, I wonder if the rules for in-conference transfers would still apply. I don’t think we’re at a point of needing to mess with him. He’s already transferred twice and was dismissed the second time.

I think Hendricks and Huggins will surprise us in the middle with Thomas and Hazen on the wing. Our hid fro Carbondale and Gunn at the three. We will be fine at the guard positions. Feeling good for the 20/21 year.

This board is basically skins and shirts to which most would agree....I could give you names and you could list which team they're on. This is okay though cause its a fan board.
I believe each side has some good points, for example, no dominant big man although Moses was pretty good and Teague guarding most 5's on the other side was first team, but 'I'll give the shirts that one. We have not won a MAC title in so long I have Ball U T-Shirts that are older...I'll give it again to the shirts.
But, recruiting Indiana All Stars like Teague, Mallers, Bum, Boogey, Gunn, etc.....I give to the skins....maybe no dominant big man, but good solid players.
And, Jones is solid coming in and so is Windham....hell, he was a Freshman on a team better than any in the MAC....win to the skins so far on the recruiting which was criticized by many in the Fall.
And, Whit's most recent season was solid...won the West and was the 3rd seed going into the tournament and Ken Pom had us playing Akron in the final....this season goes to the skins.

This is the kind of player you take when you're a lazy recruiter and your lazy recruiting has left you seeking transfers to fill out your roster.

In the whole musical chairs transfer game these days, if you have a mid-major program, with open scholarships, a gym to play in, and a uniform to give out, you are going to end up with SOME of these transfers. They will probably be able to walk and chew gum, maybe even at the same time, on a good day.

Actually if you looked at the Ken Pom percentages then Akron would have been the Champion although my comment of us being in the final were also correct.
The comment about us being lazy recruiters is unfair and inaccurate plain and simple.
If you don’t like the kids as recruits fine but there is a lot of BS spewed
Just wait till we get Zion...some may put that down to
