Isn't it obvious he could claim playing at Minnesota was all about being closer to his family while facing the horrors of Covid-19? If transfers not related to Covid-19 have to sit the normal year instead of playing immediately, then all that money Ish is going to make playing professional ball will be delayed by 1 year. I'm kidding of course about Ish making tons of money playing professional ball. I agree with you he should have stayed at BSU where he could have been the "go-to guy" next season (assuming there is a next season). Really bad precedent when your senior team leader and mostly likely team captain leaves for greener pastures. |

Bad unless the motive is just ambition, or fear of the virus...to get close to home.
I doubt there is any negative in this about the staff or BSU.
It isn't even that unusual. See Miami and other MAC schools which have now seen the same thing.
