I’ve browsed the football and basketball ones a very long time ago and did not think they were worth paying for. You’re a bigger fan than I am but you may be able to find them cheaper. I looked at them in the Indiana historical society’s gift shop.

I’ve browsed the football and basketball ones a very long time ago and did not think they were worth paying for. You’re a bigger fan than I am but you may be able to find them cheaper. I looked at them in the Indiana historical society’s gift shop. That's a fair assessment. I appreciate the work and research that must have gone into them (especially baseball). I have the basketball one and while it's a fun read, most seasons are capsulized by a very short essay, and mostly rarely-seen photos, by which I mean there are some that University Photo Services or the Star/Press did not use in their publications. Since the writer is very clearly a faculty member AND a fan, I think an updated edition covering the Ronny years and "Twenty Years Gone" period we're living in would be worth a read! The baseball edition has some eye-opening stuff about the Tank Howard years (mainly on-field fights and racism on the road)

I own the basketball and football books. I enjoy them. There needs to be updated versions.
