It may require some field research. Any volunteers? I understand the weather in Islamabad this time of year is a bit toasty.

Wear a mask for another 9 months or so, and protect others and yourself.

Friday 8 oclock campus update.
Went to greeks to pick up a pizza.. Noticed a few things.. Lots of people out for a friday at 8. Girls were very scantily dressed. No one had a mask on.. Saw a very loud possibly wasted Drew PLitt hamming it up at the VP. I can only assume a maction celebration is taking place

The covid lock down experiment appears to have put Holcomb in the danger zone. The libertarian is polling at 24%.
I guess some people object to the government forcing a cloth around their face.

Polls indicate his supporters are often disgusted with the attitude though.
Most I know who support him either say he's an ass or make excuses.
Those loving tax cuts often want less of the attitude. He's never really been accepted by the a large part of the wealthy old money.
He has built a coalition which has strong emotional commitment to it's different beliefs. Strong enough to accept the attitude if they don't like it.
Most notable you have Christians willing to accept a liar and philander with no personal Christian practice but proven to bring them pro life justices and religion in schools.
Hard core union workers attracted to someone who hates unions but channels their frustrations.
You're right the attitude is a plus in sticking it to his foes in many cases.
But he has a fragile hold based on the electoral college and the attitude has not been wearing well enough with a lot who brought him to power and he's in trouble.

Some of that is ignorance, some I think just a safe anti-Trump reaction, but he's no libertarian conservative and a potentially dangerous statist, you're right about the mask as a symbol for many though.

And face coverings bring to mind dictatorships and theocracies... I personally don't see that as much, but it has become a political symbol somehow. Symbolism is strong. But the reality here is that is not true in a health care or public health setting.

When this started I was one of the Im not wearing a mask unless im forced guy.. But after seeing both parents, myself and countless friends get it. I do not feel the same way anymore. Im not ever going to judge or tell anyone hey put on a mask but if I can help the cause even a little its not that difficult. Whether or not it works really does not matter

When this started I was one of the Im not wearing a mask unless im forced guy.. but if I can help the cause even a little its not that difficult. Whether or not it works really does not matter It is right, and you are doing the right thing to try. You might have more impact than you think if you occasionally told somebody to wear a mask and why they might want to. But that has mixed results and your experience fits with this article which explains the science why: That means being able to afford to make mistakes. The unfortunate thing is that in a pandemic you don't have time for generational change and mistakes.
It means the NEXT pandemic we may do better. And if this gets as bad as it could it might help us get out of this one, but not before we have seen too many of those "learning experiences."
In the public health literature every professional is taught that it is the greatest problem. That's why the professionals stress that good leadership, open information and consistent messaging is the key. All that was in the briefing book that the CDC gave the Administration about pandemic threats. But as we have seen ignored. You are a leader on a smaller scale, and are doing some good. But without others it is difficult.

He shouldn't be pissing off the Secret Service, and the doctors...not just to relieve boredom anyway. Looking strong, but stupid could be a problem.
Not many votes in those groups, I guess that is the biggest thing in his mind.
