Looks like a sensible contract on ISU's end.
And, for BSU, the $350K will cover around 3.5% of the typical annual football money loss......although the money loss this year seem likely to be higher.

Also to sue Indiana or Mich we have to mitigate damages, try to replace losses.

I haven't paid all that much attention. Has the MAC/BSU stated yet how they would plan to handle a football season? Games and crowds? Practice and meetings? Testing? Travel? Are they assuming they are just going to be able to copy whatever the revenue-rich conferences and pro leagues are doing? Crowds?
True that social distancing is sort of built into MAC football attendance. See the space available for the typical MAC football crowd below. And on that particular day, half of those present left when the game started and they realized that the event involved EMU and not emus.

There are plans, but nothing certain since local law is not certain. Beth and University not announcing anything yet. Would assume season ticket holders not likely to get regular assigned seats due to distancing Ive sent several messages but have not received a response about season tickets.. I have not ordered yet I want too but right now the pricing remains the same and we only have 4 home games

I have not ordered yet I want too but right now the pricing remains the same and we only have 4 home games I believe it’s five home games. I ordered my tickets long ago. When Michigan was cancelled, they called to see if I wished to see if I wanted a refund or applied to next year - I choose the later. If something happened to the season, I feel confident they’d do the same. IMO, they sort of need our support right now. Like that Iowa State also agreed to a basketball game, it would be a quality game for us.

I went ahead with order. Doubt I will see a game but it's such a cheap ticket...
Consider it a donation if I don't use them.

I would say viewing BSU sports as a charity rather than a business would be a good thing. Except there are too many charities that are more worthy.

The NCAA might cancel the whole season for all I know. However, UCONN is an independent. I would bet they didn't have anyone to play or were scrambling to the point that it was going to be so difficult to even try and find an opponent with conference ties.

Definitely scheduling issues played a big role.
