This is actually good news for Ball State if everything is cancelled we should not lose many players.. The other side of that is if all seniors are granted another year how are we going to pay for that

SEC will bail. No way they want the optics of valuing dollars over student/athletes' health.
There are questions about long-term effects of COVID, with heart issues popping up in some athletes who had the virus.

I think so as well they will just be last and then be able to say "look at what we tried to do"

I do not think the SEC will play this fall. However I see this as the start of the P5 breaking away from the NCAA & doing things for their greater financial benefit. The SEC will lead the way in any break from the NCAA.

Hold the phone. Now reports are the big 10 has not yet held a vote. Either they are lying, or they floated a trial ballon and didn’t like the backlash.

My nephew plays in the Big Ten. I think they are meeting with coach now. Probably not good to call a random meeting with the team

I think so many of the players already had it and didn't get sick. They just want to play. Selfishly, I want them to play, but I'm not in a high-risk group.
