Oh I have a couple good stories on changing of at least policy..
First off school changes... At the beginning of school every sniff of virus related news was reported to families via text email and call.. No nothing is reported to anyone by anyone unless you here it from your child.. My daughters teacher was for 2 weeks we were never notified.. There is also an entire 2nd grade class just gone..Vanished.. Never a word about it communicated'
This one might be worse depending on your side of the fence. New hospital protocol for BMH unless you have active symptoms come to work..
Well employee A's husband tested positive so A called work he/she was advised to come in until he/she had symptoms.. Of course he/she caught the virus but in the mean time A infected 6 other departmental co workers... Makes Sense right?

No, Rob, that's not how it goes.
Everyone who catches it dies, didn't you get the memo?
People have decided it's better to deal with it than hide from it.

Well you are correct none of the above mentioned died so that is a positive.. I am still not sold on the hospital handling of the situation though. Of all places you would think that would be a place that you want as strict as measures as you can find

Dealing with it means not ignoring it though.
Don't expose others needlessly.

I would just say that BMH's apparent protocol is not protocol everywhere.
It's also not a given that a person would infect their spouse. I had a co-worker who's husband was infected. They stayed in separate areas at home and made sure they disinfected common areas after being used. Neither she nor their son ever got sick.

Interesting headline here:
But, upon review the headline is a bit deceptive. Doubt this will be a major issue.
Being "diagnosed" and "developing" strike me as very different to start with.
Nonetheless, this virus just keeps on giving us reasons not to ignore it. It's making all of us a little crazy.

Some crazier than others... Lock me up. I don't always believe the weather forecast, so I think I'll ignore what my doctor says.
When science changes it is obviously silly to believe anything it says, it might be wrong.
Plus, I heard of several cases where a scientist actually lied, you can't trust anything any scientist or group of them says when you see that, even if the group is always testing each other's opinion to replicate the results.

I still think the world is flat. It is obvious that the sun orbits the earth and Copernicus was flat wrong.

Interesting how with decline of mask politics and much better public education from officials now able to report openly.
Mask use up, mitigation by social distance up.
Vaccine at least partially effective. Better coordination of distribution.
Unfortunately the Covid variants a severe threat.
Get vaccine, mask and continue being careful. We may beat this thing by Fall.

Never was observed well. I see fewer cases where a group is tightly spaced though. It's more like a 4 or 5 feet for 2 people. Still better than ignoring distance.
