Muncie man charged with beating brother with bat at Jay County campgroundInvestigators with the Jay County Sheriff's Department reported Reed on Sunday struck his brother at least four times in the head with the Louisville Slugger bat, resulting in profuse bleeding. The brothers gave conflicting accounts of what had led to the violence. Another witness, meanwhile, maintained it stemmed from a dispute between the brothers over the preparation of fried chicken. Then the conversation turned to rating the best brand of light beer....and that's when the guns came out. Food always brings out the worst in Muncie people

Well that was a stiff verdict, but I guess it is in line with the penal code.

Paying rent, can stay home and take care of kids. Another case of better work life balance in the Great Resignation.
Why not work at home? 9-5 sucks.

Muncie man arrested for attempted bank robberyMuncie criminal mastermind puts on a clinic: "A clerk told Muncie police O'Neal had approached her and said, "I want your money. I need a duffel bag." When the clerk said she didn't have a duffel bag, O'Neal "changed the topic" and began speaking with her, sitting at her desk and playing with a coin. The Muncie man later removed from his pants an object he had apparently intended to look "like an explosive device." The Muncie man had also allegedly tried to pull down a video monitoring system, and at one point put on a mask."Using various types of misdirection, the guy had everyone in the bank completely confused. He was playing 3D chess, while they were playing checkers. Then the kicker: He had also reportedly signed a note pledging to "pay back the cash I take."I don't think there is any way he can be convicted for robbery, even though caught, since he has stated this in writing. Genius.

Muncie has fallen way behind New Castle in overall stupid crime, but no other town can touch Muncie where food-related altercations and assaults are concerned.

High sodium diets lead to a lot of deaths, but not as many as knife attacks.

High sodium diets lead to a lot of deaths, but not as many as knife attacks. I bet sodium actually dwarfs knives.

Muncie jury may buy that salty defense.
Who hasn't had a bad day and a blow up at dinner?
May need Alan Shore performance to sell it, but there's a chance.
