He’s waiting for Izzo to retire. That or holding out for the next opening in B-town. They've been outside the Knight "tree" for the last 3 regimes and they're getting desperate now.

Interesting to see Everick Sullivan's name on the first list linked. He coached awhile at Vincennes JC and spent 4 years under Ron Hunter, so a couple points of reference toward Indiana - but most importantly his connection to Ball State is that, while playing for Louisville in 1990, he missed the potential game-winning 3-pointer from the right wing propelling the (BSU) Cardinals to advance to the Sweet 16...

I’d stay away from him. My guess is his coaching career is playing the long game for getting in here and slowly taking us down from the inside with a decade of mediocre ball where we don’t come close to a single championship.

We must fight against this sort of sabotage! It cannot happen to our program.

I'm just hoping for a head coach that actually wore a jock, versus picked up and washed jocks for the athletes as a manager.
The fact that this experience was thought to be viable and a productive, future success is a joke.
Be prepared to be hammered by Toledo.

This is exactly the sort of list our administration has and will look at for candidates. It's also the list every school that needs a coach will look at. The candidates on this list without drawbacks will be pursued by the richer schools and thus be out of our price range. We would choose from among those rejected by the better financed schools.
Such is your fate when you are both low in the pecking order, and lack imagination, creativity and balls.

Since it's been demonstrated how everything can be done by Zoom these days, why couldn't Bane be our coach in between his games and practices with the Grizzlies?

I KNOW that deep in his heart, he really loves us, and knows we really love him. And he will come back some day.
