Ball State will have a three game series at Kentucky in 3/5 to 3/7. UK is allowing 20% capacity at their baseball field Kentucky Proud Park. It has 2,500 permanent seats, and with grass can seat 5,000. If you're in the area that weekend, it might be a good opportunity to see some good games and a really nice SEC ballpark. You can get tickets online. |

Cards take 2 of 3 from Kentucky, winning 4-3 Sunday. Jaksick starts and goes 5 for the win; Baker goes the final 4. Combined they scatter 7 hits. Cards score all their runs in the sixth with Peltier getting a 2-RBI bases-loaded single through the left side of the infield.
I tell ya it's more fun watching baseball played in the sunshine ... even if there's nobody in the stands ... even if just on my computer, than it is watching basketball in empty arenas.
But that's probably just me.
And it helps when the Cards win.

That's a really solid series win. UK is a legit team. Best program at Ball State. Rich is doing something special. Indiana is a very underrated state as far as high school baseball talent. Some very good high school baseball programs as well as first rate travel programs. |

I realize crowds aren't big at baseball games but, aside from masks, is attending games an issue right now (or when they return home)?
