I think all of these assessments are pretty harsh, if you ask me. I'm not a fan of his attitude or politics, but as a player he's a 2nd team All Conf. guy in a league filled with really good guards. He is a good driver, especially on the baseline, better three point shooter than his stats show, 90% free throw, led team in steals and had more assists that turnovers and pretty clutch in my opinion. And, he has improved significantly since his freshman year... How can one be a better 3 point shooter than his stats show? Being forced to take too many shots when we don't find better shots we're trying to get. When an offense breaks down the best shooter ends up with the ball as the default even when he should not.

He is exactly what his stats say he is. A 31% 3 point shooter and a 40% shooter overall, along with about a 1:1 assist to turnover ratio and little to no defense.

Wow... Hot seat after 3 years? Where can we sign up for somma that action? BSU generally gives a coach a full decade to settle in... break in the office chair... decide their favorite lunch spots... find the closet where the basketballs were hidden from Ronny. Don't want to rush anyrhing... That must be very frustrating for your fanbase. We had a coach named Jim Baron from 2001-2011 who had zero NCAA tournament appearances and a couple of epic collapses with teams that 100% should have received a bid. Our AD will never make a mistake again of keeping a coach longer than he should... We hired our current coach David Cox with no head coaching experience. He's always been a fantastic assistant. We basically lead the country in transfers after Cox's second year, which looked really bad. Last season, he talked about scouting a player that was out 3 days before one of our games which made him look completely unprepared. Our media brought up how he handled his rotations multiple times, and his answers on why were terrible. I feel bad because he's a really good person and mentor to our guys, but he's not a good head coach. We shall see. Whitford is quite similar to Baron which probably means BSU will make the mistake of sticking with Whit thru 2023.
