Ten or so wins...unless you schedule specifically to pump that number up.

Better e-mail Sister Mary John Wooden. We need to play the Little Sisters of the Poor again.

Yep, thought the same thing. Hate to think what next years schedule might look like.

I’m going to get bat shit crazy for a starting line-up: Luke at pg with the flash from Finland as his back-up Windham as the scoring guard with Jones as the backup Thomas as the scoring forward with Jones as his backup Hendricks as the Power forward with Sparks as his backup Huggins as center with Sparks as his backup

He told me Windham would, at most, give us 5 minutes a game. If he starts...wow...

Does not look good for next year.
I'll be interested to see if Goetz takes another job, what happens to Whitford. If she stays, I expect an extension. If she leaves, the extension will get postponed. Then the new AD gets to make their own hire. Assuming, of course, that Mearns doesn't grant the extension before the new AD takes over...

Luke and Thomas seem very likely to play a lot. Jones if healthy would start somewhere. I would expect we see at least one transfer start.
The rest?
It is really too soon to tell about recruits, any of the 3 current freshmen could be pressed into duty somewhere. But who knows.
Windham certainly has potential but he got a chance earlier and did not do anything with it.
More likely than that is Suokas as a starter.
You don't mention Acree who I would expect to play. At times he looks like he can play, mostly when his shot falls. But we didn't see that very often...
Huggins or Hendricks could return as a starter, but who knows. Hendricks fits into the mold of a more skilled big guy, but had a very disappointing off season this year. He'd have to do much more to play a lot.
Huggie contrary to some has improved but it would depend on the staff finding a way to use a big body for him to play a lot of minutes. I like the idea of a big guy, rebounding and D, but he wasn't very good as a pick and roll player, no threat to shoot outside, and we were not using the post very much.
Sparks is another big body, but needs to make a big adjustment to MAC competition.

The obvious lack of stiff competition for PT is a potential draw for transfers. So there's that.
Well....and I guess there is Whitford's previous success in the MAC west, which Guskey tells us is powerfully impressive to recruits.

What was the scoop on his play? We saw him play some this year. Liked to shoot was my only real impression, did not fit well with what we were doing. 5 minutes seems pessimistic, but he sure wasn't looking like a potential starter either.

It was a really small sample size but he looked really unimpressive in that limited time.
