Call had a tough weekgoing 2 for 15 with an rbi & a steal. His Columbus average is .184 with 2 homers % 3 rbis.
Drey Jameson is back on the active list & started 2 games for Hillsboro last week. He did not figure in the decisions in either game. He pitched 4 1/3 innings in the 1st & 6 innings in the second. He gave up just 1 earned run in each game. He struck out 11 & walked 2 in those games. He is still 0-4 on the yr with a 4.66 era.
Kyle Nicholas had a bad outing piching July 7th. He gave up 6 runs & 9 hits. He did not figure in the decision. He fanned 5 & did not walk any. His record is still 3-1 with a 5.14 era.

Alex Call had a good week going 7 for 22 with 3 homers & 4 RBIs for Columbus. His average there is up to .233 with 5 homers & 10 rbis.
Drey Jamison pitched in 2 games last wk.. He did not figure in the decisions. He pitched 11 innings fanning 12 & gave up 2 walks & just 2 earned runs. While still 0-4 on the year he has gotten his era down to 4.38. He has pitched 51 innings allowing 50 hits, fanned 60 & walked 16 for Hillsborough.
Kyle Nicolas had his poorest outing of the yr on the 13th. He pitched 4 & 2/3rds innings giving up 6 runs on 7 hits of which 4 were homers. He lost his 2nd game of the season & is now 3-2. He did fan 9 while walking 4. He has 76 strike outs in the 53 & 2/3rds innings pitched on the season.
Luke Jaksich is currently 0-1 with Sioux City. He has pitched 8 innings in 6 games.Giving up 8 hits while fanning 11 & walking 6. His era is 7.88.
Kevin Marnon pitched in 2 games throwing 2 2/3rds innings while not allowing a hit & fanning 4. His current season record is 0-1 with a 3.38 era. He has 2 saves & pitched in 8 games for the Palm Beach Cards.

Kyle Nicolas pitched a great game for Beloit on the 20th although he got no decision.He pitched 6 innings giving up one earned run,3 hits & a walk.He fanned 10. The outing was his final game in Beloit as he was promoted to AA ball as a member of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. His final record with Beloit was 3-2 with 5.28 era. He pitched in 13 games giving up 57 hits in 59 2/3 innings while walking 24 & striking out 86.
Drey Jameson got his 1st win in professional baseball for Hillsboro against Eugene last night. He pitched 6 innings giving up one run, walking 2 & allowing 4 hits. He had 11 strike outs & left with 3-1 lead.
Luke Jaksich was released by Sioux City on July 17th his final stats were as shown last week.
Kevin Marnon pitched in 2 games for Palm Beach on the 22nd he pitched an inning striking out 2 while not allowing a baserunner.He lost the game on the 24th allowing a walk & a hit and 2 earned runs in 2/3rds of an inning.
Alex Call of the Columbus Clippers had a tough week going 3 for 17. He did hit one double & had a home run.Six of his 16 hits at Columbus have been home runs which tops the 5 he had hit at Akron this yr. He is currently hitting .226.

Alex Call went 5 for 26 with a homer & 2 RBIS. He is now hitting .212 at Columbus with 7 homers & 11 RBIS.
Drey Jameson got win # 2 last week at Hillsboro pitching a 7 inning complete game. He gave up 2 earned runs, 6 hits, no walks & fanned 6. His ERA is down to 3.92 & record is 2-4.
Kyle Nicolas in his 1st game with Pensacola pitched 5 innings & did not allow a run. He did not get a decision in it. He walked 4 & fanned 8. Get this did not allow a hit.
Kevin Marnon was promoted to the Peoria Chiefs. He has pitched in 2 games with them.He has allowed 1 hit in 2 1/3 innings & no runs.He has not given up any walks & has 3 strike outs.

Jameson's 1st game was a good one with Amarillo but he did not get a decision. He pitched 6 innings for Amarillo allowing 2 runs & 4 hits. He fanned 11 & walked only 1.
Kyle Nicolas won his 2nd start on 8/3 against Biloxi for Pensacola. He pitched 5 innings allowing 2 runs & 3 hits. He walked 1 & fanned 6.
Kevin Marnon at Peoria pitched in 2 games & got his 1st save on 8/4. He pitched 1 inning & gave up a hit while striking out 2. August 6th he had a bad outing pitching 1 inning & giving up 2 runs on 2 hits & walked 1.
Alex Call with Columbus was 7 for 20 raising his average to .234. He hit 1 hr & drove in 3 runs for the week. He now has 8 hrs & 14 rbis with the Clippers. He is showing lots of power for a leadoff hitter. He has hit 13 homers for the season when adding in the hrs hit at Akron. This is the most he has hit in a season in his 5 seasons in pro baseball.

Kevin Marnon was promoted to AA & joined the Springfield Cardinals August 12th. He had not pitched since our last report & is awaiting his first action with the Cardinals.

Alex Call continues to hit with power at Columbus hitting his 9th hr this past week since being promoted to the Clippers at the end of June. He was 5 for 22 last wk. His avg at Columbus is .233 with 9 homers & 18 RBIs. Kevin Marnon had a bad debut at Springfield. He pitched 1 inning giving 2 runs on 2 hits & 2 walks. He fanned one & was the losing pitcher. Kyle Nicolas pitched a good game on the 10th for Pensacola but did not get a decision. He pitched 5 innings giving up a hit, walking 4 & fanning 8. Drey Jameson at Amarillo won his 1st game in AA. He pitched 7 innings on the 11th giving up 3 earned runs on 5 hits. He walked 3 & fanned 8.
Chayce McDermott is now pitching for the Astros Florida Gulf Coast League team.

Alex Call had another good week going 7 for 19 with a homer his 10th at Columbus & he drove in 2 runs bringing his Columbus total to 20. He has raised his average to .248 at Columbus.
Kevin Marnon had another bad outing in Springfield on the 19th. He pitched 2 1/3 innings aloowing 2 runs on 4 hits & fanned 2. His record at Springfield is 0-1 with 10.80 era.
Kyle Nicolas pitched another good game at Pensacola winning his second game there. He pitched 5 ings allowing 3 hits & walked 4 while striking out 7. His record is now 2-0.He has pitched 20 ings allowing 7 hits with 13 walks & 29 strike outs.His ERA is 0.90.
Drey Jameson pitched 2 good games for Amarillo. He got a win on the 17th in which he pitched 7 1/3 ings allowing 5 hits & no runs or walks. He pitched on the 22nd going 7 ings giving up 3 hits & 1 run. He walked 2 & fanned 10 & did not get a decision in the game. His record at Amarillo is 2-0 with 1.98 era in 27 1/3 ings. He has given up just 17 hits & 6 walks. He has fanned 41.
Chayce McDermott at Fayetteville in his 1st game pitched 3 ings did not allow a hit while walking 2 & fanning 6. ERA is 0.00.

Kyle Nicolas won his 3rd game at Pensacola. He is now 3-0 there. He has pitched 26 2/3rds innings allowing 10 hits & 2 earned runs. His era is 0.68 he has walked 14 & has 34 strike outs.
Drey Jameson won his 3rd game for Amarillo. He is now 3-0 there. His era is 2.51. He has pitched 32 innings allowing 9 earned runs & 21 hits. He has walked 9 & fanned 47.
Chayce McDermott started his 1st game for Fayetteville on Aug. 27th. He pitched 2 2/3rds innings allowing 3 earned runs while giving up 2 hits, walking 4 & fanning 5. His era is now at 4.76 & he is still 0-0.
