Plesac was said to pitch good by the Indians. I question that feeling as he gave up 3 runs on 5 hits in 4 innings. While Cleveland got the win I don't think his pitching was good. But they need bodies. Cleveland is bringing up a Columbus pitcher to start tonight.

Plesac pitched his best game of the season going 7 innings against the Royals in winning his 9th game. He gave up only 2 hits & did not walk anyone nor allow a run. Final was Cleveland 7 Royals 2.

Well, Zach Plesac just set a record, albeit very obscure.
Plesac is the only pitcher in MLB history to start three games, in a single season, where his team was no-hit.
I do not foresee that record ever being broken.
