Ohio will be tough. They have two really good pitchers - Joe Rock & Edward Kutt IV that will give BSU some problems. I didn't llok closely at the box scores, but Ohio dropped 3 of 4 to Akron. CMU has EMU this weekend, then finishes with Toledo. Toledo is playing pretty good down the stretch. Need EMU to get at least 2 and Toledo to pull the upset. |

I thought the infield played excellent defensively today. Ohio's throwing error ended up being the difference in a close series opener.
Also, it appears all of the games this series can be streamed for free on YouTube.

Game 3 was going okay, but Jaksich struggling now. CMU holding on so far with a 3-2 lead.

Also, it appears all of the games this series can be streamed for free on YouTube. You sorta spoke too soon. At one point when I was watching, we looked like The Bad News Bears. Couple of wild pitches, an error on the pitcher on a bad throw to first off a bunt and I don't know what all else. Wasn't really the infield, but all pretty much fell on the pitcher. |

Kutt threw a really good game in the nightcap. Too bad BSU couldn't jump on him.
3 hitter, 2 BBs, 6 Ks

11.7 pitch/inning avg
While it was a 7 inning game, it went fast - one hour thirty seven minutes.

Very disappointing effort today. All 5 pitchers who entered for BSU struggled. Combine that with CMU sweeping and its exactly NOT what was needed. BSU is hanging by a thin thread.
