Yea its up to the school and what they allow most have said you can't use our logo... so far That won't last. It'll become a recruiting tool. The NCAA totally screwed this up. They should have made the stipulation that if you sell your NIL, then you forgo your athletic scholarship money.

While it will became a recruiting tool......its not something that is going to hurt us. Its only going further the distance between teams like Bama, Clemson, Ohio State from the P5 teams like Vandy, Wake Forest, Rutgers. The kind of kids we are going after are not going to be making money off their NIL for years if ever.....now if you are fighting for the number 1 recruit in a class......thats when things come into affect.

SOME mac programs are going to be hurt badly by NIL....very badly....the ones who do a poor job of directing money into their players' pockets. Some MAC schools will figure this out and find was to get actual dollars flowing to the right players and recruits. Other schools will just issue blathering press releases and their players and recruits will get a trickle of random deals. In about 5 years, it will be very evident which school did which. You watch. I gather that schools are limited in arranging for deals, but unofficially organized boosters would not seem to have many limits. They are ALLOWED to give players money, so how are you going to limit coordination between boosters? There are sharp boosters around the country right now thinking this through and starting to make plans and arrangements. Any in Muncie? doubtful. Nick Saban, who is extremely sharp and was kicking everyone's ass under the previous recruiting rules, is already on his way to working the new system and adapting so as to continue to kick everyone's ass. It was great how he just casually let drop how his QB, who has never started a game, is getting a million dollars. Nick just...you know...made an offhand reference to that because it just happened to occur to him in the natural course of the conversation, when a lot of media just happened to be around. At a much lower level, the sharp MAC coaches and boosters are already starting to do things behind the scenes that the stupid MAC coaches and boosters will eventually copy.

That was Classic Saban, Ohio State has also secured the number 1 qb in the nation who already has 1 million in deals. It looks like he is going to skip his senior year of high school and enroll early at Ohio state so he can get that money
