I think we’ll pull off a surprise upset against Xavier this week. They’re sure to be looking past us to their date with Morehead the following Wednesday.

Considering the fact that Xavier played Oklahoma State today, plays Ball State Wednesday, and Cincinnati in the "Cross Town Shootout" Saturday, then, yes the Ball State game is potentially a trap game for Xavier. In any event it should be a better indication of where Ball State stands at this point as Xavier has beaten Kent and dominated Central Michigan (so have most of their quality opponents).

Xavier is likely a fringe NCAA team this season and there is no way they are going to take a home loss to Ball State. Losing this game could keep them from an at-large bid. It should however be a decent game, my guess would be Xavier by about 13.
It'll be entertaining watching Bumbalough try and guard Paul Scruggs.

Yeah I would expect us to put up 25-30 threes in this game. Look for a bunch of early shot clock launches before we have a chance to turn the ball over.
