I have to admit, the Big East is a meat grinder.
Xavier spent a week in the Top 25 two weeks before the Big East starts. They go 8-11 and finish tied for 8th in conference. Then they put an NIT run to win it all.
Butler fires LaVall Jordan after finishing tied for 10th. In total, 3 coaches gone in Big East.

I have to admit, the Big East is a meat grinder. Xavier spent a week in the Top 25 two weeks before the Big East starts. They go 8-11 and finish tied for 8th in conference. That "football"conference suddenly wants more than UK in the Big Dance. Money is a motivating factor More shares for the conference and competition driving the lust for NCAA Tourney success |
