For big limbs, it's safer to cut it when you're in the tree. And to not try to cut the whole thing off at once.
Cutting angle is important as well, to avoid houses, etc. Not to mention undercutting first.
There's a whole science to it.

Is this "science" you refer to bought and paid for in order to support a pre-defined political narrative? Or is it real science.

I worked Katrina relief way back then, and watching the people who actually knew what they were doing being able to barely avoid catastrophe and expertly redirect massive limbs from the top of buildings was truly fascinating. I was always right on the edge with "this time they are going to totally crush that house" seconds before they maneuvered it correctly. That totally put me in the "hire a pro" camp for big tree maintenance. If I wasnt supposed to handle large tree maintenance on my own my multi-tool wouldn’t have come with that little saw.

Yeah & he hasn't played a game for them. Not really to defend Gunn, but he got hurt before the season started and has missed the whole year because of injury.

True, but false, at the same time. This also an interesting type of misinformation. If you know something, share it. If not, what you "know" is worthless.

I'm with you. Good job!
You debunk the crap!
But true believers don't really hear what you say if it's contrary to their belief.
Ask Galileo Galileo.

I understand the Administration's actions usually. Often I can support it. Sometimes that is because I don't really think that if they change course they will make a decision I like better.
I certainly don't buy all the PR they put out. Or repeat it. What I do is disagree with some of the prevailing theories on the forum that call for change of course in some specific way. Not always disagreeing either.
This forum has a pretty strong set of beliefs that the administration is not only usually wrong whatever they do, but somehow also believes it will magically get smart and do better things, if only they change course.
I don't buy that they can't do worse, or that the current course of action is horrible. That's different than always thinking they have made the best possible decision.

Flipped over to see what they looked like today. Down 70 25 at the time. 5 on the floor, 1 on the bench. 1 coach standing and 5 support/assts with a trainer on down the bench. Strange look indeed.

What exactly led to this, I don't buy the Whitford demonic possession theory...
Crenshaw was a long time popular and successfully assistant there.
Everyone expected a bad year. What else happened?
