Cant ban the site its bots spamming us I try to delete them all but they just keep coming

I think we need a team of spam removers. I’ll volunteer and as an added campaign promise I define 00 as a spammer too. Vote for me.

Maybe all new members need to be approved before posting. I have no idea if he already does this, but Rob can restrict registration, use captcha for registration, and allow registrants to post a " message" to him during the process. He could then notify all registrants as part of the process he will have to review the message before approving. If no message, no registration. All that might foil a bot at least. If it is a busy human he'd have to read messages... I have no idea how many registration requests he gets and don't remember if we now use restricted registration. Volunteer forum cops could help and probably be given limited powers perhaps only to approve newbies. |

It's not my sight to make those changes.. My powers are only to keep the peace and delete. I can't make big changes. I will reach out to Allan and see if he can/will or wants me to change it up

Point him at the relevant sections found by searching the help guides. |

One thing we could try is making it where you have to sign in on every topic. Would not effect us much since I assume most of us just remain logged in. The bots don't seem to hit basketball recruiting or football recruiting as often and those are the only two topics that require additional log ins
