Fun to watch when we shoot well and move the ball. We have potential.

Wonderful shooting. Equally nauseating defense. Improved a bit 2nd half.

Fun to watch when we shoot well and move the ball. We have potential. Unfortunately not a guarantee of consistency game to game. Maybe too much to ask. We are better and players are better than early in the season. Still have to play at very high end of spectrum to compete with the good teams. But, so far so good. Think we should respect the job team and staff have done.

Just a really good fun game.. Biggest student section this year and it helped.. They offered 1000 half court shot and gave away free energy drinks.. Do that or more every game. Good energetic crowd. What ever the sub pattern tonight was keep it. Maybe less Brown he is lost on d and if he is not hitting more than one three a game I just don't know

Just saw the second half and I agree with most observations. This was without a doubt our best game of the season----ball movement and a lot of assists. Six guys in double figures is indeed a rarity in Whit-world. Brown was really humbled on defense. Can we bottle this game and drink it for the next?

Toughest game left on our schedule next.
With this win and a win against Akron maybe, we can finish above 500.
I'll not bet on it, but play a few more games like this I might. We held it together on D, just enough, and made the offense work.

Finally finished the game. Watched volleyball live since it was due to be exciting and figured this would be a blowout. Wow... I like the shortened bench (though Brown's matador defense and bricklaying should earn him more bench time). Great balance, didn't fold up after Toledo's multiple runs. Sparks and Sellers (if BSU can hold onto them) could be a duo to build around as they age. With jihad, brown, and Pearson, this freshman class is refreshingly good.

Wonderful shooting. Equally nauseating defense. Improved a bit 2nd half. What was nice to see was that we actually sustained the effort from the first half to the second half and when we got behind we didn’t give up and kept moving the ball and going to the basket! That was what was fun tonight!

I certainly have done my share of Whit criticism but this was one of his better-coached games with substition patterns. Thet got off to a great start, could have folded afte losing the lead in the second half but took the punch and regained the lead. Someone said less Brown, more Windham, I say less Brown, more Sellers. Can this game mean momentum for the next game? No way.

Great game. Fast start. Responded to Toledo’s runs. Sparks is awesome. Thomas is much improved. Sellers is a go getter. They just need to carry this swagger into the remaining part of the season and we will be alright. Go Cards!!!

Someone said less Brown, more Windham, I say less Brown, more Sellers. Can this game mean momentum for the next game? No way. I said less Brown more Windham in terms of subbing in a “shooter”. I’ve seen enough of Brown to know he’s not going to be consistent this year. I’d like to see Windham have a little more of an opportunity based upon the Ohio game. Windham was high point man in a game earlier this year as well. Sellers has carved out his own playing time and has a role separate from what Windham and Brown have, so I don’t see a playing time conflict between he and the other two. I do agree that Sellers should start playing a little more also. He looks more confident driving to the basket and shoots with confidence.

The progress made by Sparks is truly remarkable. He certainly isn't playing like any freshman center that I can remember. His pivot spin on the post was lightening quick. He has exhibited a soft face up jumper recently. Scary potential. Fun to watch! Glad he plays for Ball State!
