We just lost to a VERY BAD (6-16) MAC team AT HOME. Whitford got totally outschemed by a first-year coach. Can anybody justify the concept of BSU not pulling the trigger on Whit TONIGHT? We are 11-13, but really 10-13 when you consider we had a non-D1 win in there. It's time to move on RIGHT NOW. We have a very capable assistant on the bench that can seamlessly take over TOMORROW. Make the move, Beth! Actually, that's 11-14 (or 10-14). |

Pathetic effort, mailing it in vs 2 teams at home vs teams ranked in the 300s nationally.

My big fear now? That Whit has an Al Brown moment and goes on a run in the MAC tourney and even if Beth actually planned to fire Whit (doubtful), winning the MAC tourney will buy him another year. I have nothing against the msn on a personal level— he seems like a good person, but he is not the leader the program needs. He just isn’t. Losing AT HOME to one of the worst teams in d1, on February 15 when our oh so incredibly young team (sarcasm) should have grown up by now is beyond unacceptable.
But I’m sure there will be plenty of excuses and rationalizations.

Make the move, Beth! I agree.,The President of Ole Ball U should have got off his ass, walked down to the bench and told Whitless he is fired. He should have handed the clipboard to one of the assistant coaches and told them they had until the end of the season to show they deserve the job. This is our typical February collapse to two bottom feeders of the conference - at home! |

The sign went almost the length of the court and in all caps it said FIRE AL BROWN! We need one of those! Of course ours should suggest firing someone else. |
