My big fear now? That Whit has an Al Brown moment and goes on a run in the MAC tourney and even if Beth actually planned to fire Whit (doubtful), winning the MAC tourney will buy him another year. I have nothing against the msn on a personal level— he seems like a good person, but he is not the leader the program needs. He just isn’t. Losing AT HOME to one of the worst teams in d1, on February 15 when our oh so incredibly young team (sarcasm) should have grown up by now is beyond unacceptable. But I’m sure there will be plenty of excuses and rationalizations. I remember a sign in the crowd back in 1987 at what was then called University Gym. The sign went almost the length of the court and in all caps it said FIRE AL BROWN! We need one of those! Of course ours should suggest firing someone else. There was another that read “get out of town Al Brown” it is a classic.

I don't think most of the fans there don't actually care if we win or lose. Going to the basketball game gets them out of the house. Student wise how many are there? Very few. That being said in the league we are still 3rd in attendance which shows no one cares in most MAC towns.

Northern has lost 8 of its last 9 and I look for that to continue. Cards by 10. I hope to see more of Sellers and would like to see some more of Windham in the game. This really should be an easy home win but everytime we have thought that we seem to shit the bed Clean up on aisle 3 please.

Our guards got their asses handed to them tonight. Cochran and Bumb were terrible. I honestly have never seen a team miss so many point blank shots from 4 feet or less in my lifetime. Gang, this is the famous February Flop that is our coach's trademark, right? Whomever has followed this program for any length of time cannot be remotely surprised. It's the cartoon equivalent of Lucy yanking the football out from under Charlie Brown. Even though he knows she's gonna do it he still lines up and falls flat on his back...every effin time.

Season tix for 41 years and just don't care lately. Went to a high school game tonight. Glad I wasn't in Worthen. Highlight was the Toledo game. Thinking I'm done for the year . . . maybe not.

There have to be better programs to followWish I could, but I can’t! It’s Ball U or die - but they need to fire Whitless because I am one of a dieting breed and they will never attract new fans with this kind of crap coaching. I feel we do have some talented players and I feel for them. Where we are lacking talent is in the coaching staff, that can be corrected. However, I believe we have no leadership in the AD or the University President to make the needed correction.

If you look at BSUs mac tourney history since he took over for most part BSU loses who they're supposed to minus Miami OH in 2016 and their 2 wins were vs meh MAC West schools. They'd have to at least beat 2 MAC East teams to make a run.

There was another that read “get out of town Al Brown” it is a classic. Remember that one vividly. The banner was actually in 1986, when the team started fast then faltered in conference play. I think they finished third or fourth and then the hot streak in the tourney probably saved Brown. With the heart of that team gone the following year, he was a dead man walking. Another nice guy who was probably best served as the reliable "player's guy" assistant, and his career arc has proven that, not like it's a bad thing. Pretty similar to Whitford, in my opinion.
