We need to give Whit a “pass” for those first two years as he was trying to establish a very complicated system for the future. That 2015 juggernaut (year 2 of statistical expungement) finished 7-23 and a KenPom 257We are currently 252 in year 9 of the system for the future This morning we have ended our season. Kenny Pomeroy has us at 264 . That is 7 spots below 2015, which was year two of the "crash and burn two year start up" plan. It appears we must have been right on track (7-23 vs 14-17) with the implemented system. It is just that 263 other teams had a system to improve which was more accelerated than ours. |

We always have to hit the wall and totally destroy the car before making a driver change. I guess as long as he brings it back with a couple wheels on it he gets a pass.

Bottom 1/3rd of all teams. Objectively, that makes us a bad team. Not a mediocre team, which at most generous would be middle third, but we are BAD. It should not be that way, especially in the 9th year of a program. |

It should not be that way, especially in the 9th year of a program. Yeah but it was only the seventh year of Whitford's "sophiscated motion offense", he still needs more time to recruit his "highly skilled" ten man rotation to run that thing. |
