Wish I would have joined this board years ago, so do we think money is really the issue and we are the third in attendance in MAC, imagine changing name back to Ball U and then let’s flip HC and ASST for last year. Have to think that either would bring some excitement or noise. Bringing back Ball U would def be easier to pull off…. Just throwing out a solution if money is an issue. So you found the Ball State Fight Club congrats. We are like the wild west there are really no rules except no nudity and refrain from personal character attacks. If you hang around you will get in a fight with someone at some time. When this happens keep in mind we all have add and things blow over in a couple days. If things escalate kill it with 6th grade humor.. If your here to troll it will not take us Long to figure out and when we do God bless your soul. Other than that enjoy yourself. |

Also playing for their conference tourney championship is Bellarmine, in only their second year of DI basketball. Their RPI is 128 and Longwood's is 149, compare those to our 248. Wow. I didn't even know Bellarmine had moved up to DI. Yeah and they just beat Liberty in their semifinal round. Liberty was the second seed in their conference (ASUN) and to top it off Bellarmine has a couple of Indiana guys that made the conference team. Oh and Liberty is moving to Conf USA bc they have been dominating in the ASUN. Go figure! |

Scotty Davenport is one of the nicest, most principled guys in College Coaching. Keeps coming across the river and taking All Stars. Brayden Hobbs was on that D2 championship team. Got a winning culture going down there prior to the jump to D1. I don't think Bellarmine can go dancing even if they win the tourney this first year up in D1 . |

As a TN resident, I've heard about the Longwood matchup quite a few times at this point. I just can't figure out the Vols/Rocky Top joke. Disappointing matchup in terms of wordplay and jokes, but I'm sure one of you will whip one out...

Yes, it's odd how Tenn somehow fails to present any good joke possibilities to my juvenile self. Oh well, the potential 2nd round match up with the Rams promises to be much more fruitful.
I am hearing a lot of general jokes about Longwood around the sports fan world. I must say they are all gags we have ourselves covered five times over....and not even any of our better ones.
