Out rebounded them. Had a higher shooting percentage both from 3pt and otherwise. Had a good night from the free-throw line. Hit as many as they took. Lost by 11.

Those of you who have been around for a while, just imagine the blast of thermonuclear fury from the bench if any of Majerus's or Hunsaker's teams had EVER shown the level of defensive performance that this year's team shows night in and night out.

Too many turnovers(Thomas throws the laziest and predictable passes) and staying in a zone killed us.

Well, to sum up, Whit was pretty happy we had a lead late cuz Kent is playing great and we played really well and Carry had an unbelievable game and oh well, can’t get too upset about losing, so next!
In other words it’s a moral victory and we made Kent work hard so yay for us and let’s just move on. Personally I’d prefer we’d finish the job when we have leads “late.” I’d like to see our coach make an attempt at adjustments rather than just stand there and watch teams go on runs in the last few minutes and take no timeouts to try to stop it. I don’t want a coach who is content with “no one has done that to Kent in a long time” IN A LOSS. Does the man have any competitive fire? The good coaches we’ve had in the past would be despondent and pissed off about falling apart at winning time like we do/did. Not our guy, he’s just glad we played well. It was a conference game, not a game against a top 10 or whatever. Not an impossible game to win. . As Herm Edwards said, YOU PLAYTO WIN THE GAME.
