2-8 in the conference tourney under Whit .... best showing was 2020, when the tourney was cancelled.

The guy that did radio when Joel was on TV is pretty darn good. I bet he's the replacement.

I said back during Morry's later years that people complaining about him would miss him once we got his replacement, who would likely be a banal, off-the-assembly-line, ESPN-bred clone. I was right, as usual.

I was right, as usual. Joel will not be missed. But truthfully, I don't miss Morry either. Joel's style was terrible but at least you could follow what was going on in the game. Couldn't do that in Morry's last years at the mic. Love him for his love of and contributions to BSU if you want, but the announcing in those final years was not good. |
