I think if we make it to the final, Whit might keep his job but frankly I don’t see us getting by OU let alone Kent which is the hottest team in the MAC!

Whit likely gets the bad news by early next week! BSU could win the Conference Tourney and I would still can him. Getting hot for a couple of games doesn't suddenly make Whitford a good coach. If they do fire him, Beth needs to explain the timing and why he wasn't terminated after last season. |

Even with shots, apparently no one was immune to the Rona last year, but EVERYONE was immune to accountability and expectations, especially at a mid-major that has accepted mediocrity as sufficient to keep the remaining faithful asleep in their seats. |

My understanding of the extension last year was that we bought time to cheapen his buy out in May or something. I thought we were holding out hope for a change in the middle of the offseason.

Unless someone wrote a check and said make this happen I don't see it before that date where the price goes down. They could still be working in the background to get a replacement. It would be like Christmas Day if it did happen. Then comes the fear of who they hire to replace him. My bet is that it will be a woman or trans person. |
