Lewis and our ads following each other on twitter this was not tge case yesterday Know nothing about him as a coach except he's been around a few places and his name popped up a lot last year when IU was filling its staff. I think of him as young, which I tend to equate with energy and exuberance, but I guess he's about the same age Whitford was when we hired him so no guarantees because of age I guess. Has he ever been a HC, even at a lower level?

The only issue is it feels a little like replacing Jim Whitford with Jim Whitford. But he’d be more aggressive and intense than whit. I think he’d demand more.

Both Purdue and ucla will likely have long ncaa runs this could drag on if Johnson and Lewis do emerge as real candidates

With Coach K retiring from Duke, we should see if he is willing to take on a pro bono basketball reclamation project.

I have heard over the last two years that a lot of very respected head coaches are very high on Michael Lewis.
I have good sources say he nixed previous opportunities the last two years.

So let's assume Johnson Lewis and Darner are 3 candidates.. which one would you guys prefer Hiring a former IU guy might create excitement in the community. The Bloomington University fans in Muncie would have some initial interest in the program: whether that is positive or negative is for someone else to decide.

If Lewis is in play, could be a long wait.

I would probably go with Terry Johnson assuming he has a well thought out plan he presents at his interview.
