Lewis will go to Butler. That is why Collier is in no hurry to pull the trigger on Jordan. Has to wait on UCLA to finish their tournament run. Butler can pay $2 million+ a year, they aren't gonna hire Michael Lewis. Their fan base would riot.

Lewis would totally be a collier type hire. He absolutely could get that job.

Lewis would be a solid hire. He's not making too much as an assistant, so he's affordable. Relatively young. An Indiana guy.
I'd be on board.

Whatever the choice there is a case to keep Botts as an assistant, if possible. He surely would be interested in moving up some way. Maybe taking a HC position at a lower level school, or move up to a higher level as an assistant. He's here originally in large part for family reasons, but this is a logical time to move.
I'll be curious how well they have budgeted for staff whoever they choose.

the next HC would be wise to keep Botts.

Cronin just signed a 6 year extension. Wonder if that included a bump for assistants.

i heard Ronald Nored's name floated out there from someone. i hadnt heard that yet but i heard he was a candidate. not sure how true that is or not but it was a name i hadnt thought of...
I am holding out for Lewis. agreed on retaining Botts. that would be a smart move for all it seems.

Nored would certainly be an outside-the-box hire.
I dunno.
