I think its going to be Darner. This was the plan, when he was hired last year, i would hope, with darner, Sparks and Sellers stay...

Then why spend the money on a search? Appearances?

I was going to add Ryan Pedon at tOSU, but he's going to Illinois State. Probably just as well, he was making about $500k at tOSU.

You guys are ready for tge first woman men's head basketball coach right... Just saying Hot babe for a head coach wearing a pair of Tyler Cochran's shorts on the sidelines would do wonders for attendance and recruiting. Just saying it's something that should be considered.

Well the Blackford mafia page seems happy (3 minutes I won't get back)...
(misused) "one of the best point guards in the country."
"never seen anyone work harder."
Call off the search, boys! The next coach is right under our noses. A 20(?)-year old player-coach.. think of the headlines! A blend of John Stockton and John Wooden all rolled into one!

They probably want to take credit for getting him fired.

I'd rather have Whitford. ABSOLUTELY NOT.

If you were Darner, aside from the local connections, would you want to stay? My bet is on a certain demographic and Haven starts overseeing basketball like he did with football.

Am I wrong in remembering that Beth hired Darner, not Whitford? I don't remember where I got that perception from. Probably here if so.

Goetz was balking about it because of the mystery surrounding his GB departure... not exactly a risk taker. That's what I recall.

Eric Echelbarger at IU-K has done a hell of a job. Good pedigree, great record.
