I'm choosing the extension option. Extending the wrong coach multiple rimes in last 15 yr has really hurt this program. When Buckley was extended in 2002, that was understandable because most MAC schools would of taken the same action after nearly earning an at large.

Every program no matter how big or small will have some dud hires. The difference between having a few down years and fading into irrelevance is how quickly you remove the duds. We’ve had a streak of duds combined with extreme patience for mediocrity, hence our pathetic results.
