Can we hope that Lewis will be so successful that the bleacher tarps will become unnecessary? Maybe then I can get one and use it to cover my wood. You heard me. Wet wood bonfires are the worst! Nothing but a big smoky mess! |

Do you think if Butler would've fired LaVall Jordan two weeks ago, we would not be talking about Michael Lewis coming to BSU? I think he would've pursued the Butler job. if it had came down to us or Butler he would have went to butler Of course. Huge difference . But...Far more likely it would be bird in the hand with BSU vs a slim chance at Butler. He would not be a clear first choice there. We make an offer, would he refuse just to interview Butler? |

Butler wasn't going to pursue Michael Lewis. You look at the names mentioned it's hard to see him winning the job. Their fired coach looked like such a good fit. Not sure how Lewis looks better. It's a big decision for Collier, it has to be a name that he can be really enthusiastic about. Even paying a buyout on both ends of the change the press names guys like Matta and his former assistant Boals, Groce, and Chris Mack. Saw a rumor Stevens would have input favoring lesser lights like Johnson or Nored maybe. |

So Butler's news conference to introduce Matta is also Wednesday. That said, how many members of the Indianapolis media will show up for the BSU presser?
And even if they do make it, the lead story Wednesday night and Thursday is still going to be all Butler.

I believe our press conference was scheduled first, so this might be more of a Butler ploy to purposely over shadow ours, knowing what is being said is true. Good planning on their part.
