Off-The-Court-Enthusiastic-Coach is something we haven’t had since Rick Majerus. Heck, it was ONLY Rick Majerus!
Give Lewis a chance and roll out as many promos as you can at start of season to expose the team and community to each other. Combine free parking with dollar Weenies and $5 tickets, etc........we spent a lot of money on this transition. Spend some more to see if you can ratchet it up a notch.
If the product is still inferior, then that will take care of itself. Go big or go home,

What's the paid attendance number you'll put a bet on? My bet is that would vary wildly depending on how good the team is. My bet is it will never be quite good enough for you.
But, since you think W-L is such a sensitive variable, let's just assume we have a teams similar to the teams in the 90's and early in 2000's ( in Worthen Arena) which had a good deal of variation in W-L.
Do you think we can match attendance with those teams, now, 20 years later? How close can we come?
With the scheduling, local demographic changes, and so on we can manage? There's a bet that deals with the variability of wins.
You seem not to think those things matter, and it's the elusive loyal Indy alumni will make up for it. After all IU has always had a big market from Indy...
In those days we mostly didn't draw 7000+, but had years averaging 5000-7000. To me the low end of that range would be an optimistic marketing goal. Look back at that age and the attendance, what would it take to assume you'll be buying to tickets to help achieve the goal?

Thinking about it, it's probably more likely they raise prices on everything.
