He did use the word process once which made me cringe a bit. But it was only once in about 30 minutes of speaking. Whitford normally used at least once a minute. I'm not worried about that too much. Probably hard to avoid the p-word entirely. But PLEASE tell me he didn't use the phrase "score the ball". Also I would immediately become VERY frightened if he used the phrase "clicking on all fires". I love that he is explicitly disclaiming the idea of being patient. We should all fall in line with that. |

It was refreshing to hear him say he is not patient and expects to win right away.

I was told on here a few years back that expecting to win right away with a new coach was very unrealistic 🤷♂️
I believe that was in Whityear 2. Turns out that statement was very prophetic

It is great to hear Coach Lewis say that he is not patient... but let's remember, us fans, we do have to be patient... even the greatest of coaches took a couple seasons to get things going. Loving everything I hear from this coach... Go Cards! |

Use of the term "process" is only bad if it is used in a hollow way (i.e., Whit). Lots of great coaches use the word with conviction and purpose, such as Nick Saban.
