This is the first I’ve ever seen him called Montana. Big Sky? My guess would be that it's a Scarface reference.

My guess would be that it's a Scarface reference. Yeah, that's the first thing I thought as well.

NIL was the issue and I believe why he left. Don't see why he's dissing BSU if that's it.

NIL was the issue and I believe why he left. Don't see why he's dissing BSU if that's bit. he might have gotten something nil related at Kent but that has nothing to do with hs parting comments

Don't see why he's dissing BSU if that's it.(the real reason he left) he might have gotten something nil related at Kent but that has nothing to do with hs parting comments If he left for NIL, I guess that is the new normal for our semi-pro athletes.
If he left because BSU screwed him over some way, I doubt it, but that's fine if that's what he thinks. But why publicly trash BSU? It's an asshole move and alienates fans he had who would normally wish him the best. No fan did anything but support him.
In any case a player thinks he is screwed there are two sides. Even if it were the case, the likely outcome is he looks very lame even if he (finally) has a breakout year. on top of that there is the downside he creates locker room material. Not a class act in any way I can see.

Why would he be “owed” NIL? What has he displayed that a sponsor would want him to represent their product/service? It’s not supposed to just be a free for all giveaway.

But I'm pretty sure that's what some expect ... and at schools where donors are more flush with cash, that's probably effectively what it is.
