Camp report from today.. It appears that Kiael Kelly has been asked to switch from Qb to Wr. Not sure what going on with that but I was able to confirm that it's true. Paddock was 1 Blazek 2 and Cobb 3 Wow, crazy. I doubt he sticks around. Blazek could surprise all of us and win the job by the end of the year. |

My guess is that Blazek really is that good. I know he is more of a pocket passer, but if he is a stud they need to adjust the offense to fit his style.
The loss of Benson may have opened up a WR spot, but I thought we still were in pretty good shape there. I know Kelly is a good athlete, but I don't know if he could surpass the WRs on the roster.

That can’t bode well in terms of Kelly staying. Either our WRS are really disappointing, or Kelly hasn’t looked all that good at QB or Blazek has looked really good. Or maybe a combo package of all that.

By the end of spring practice he’ll either be back at Qb2 or he’ll be in the portal.

The good news is that the other guys are expected to be good. Blazek put up big numbers against some of the best high school competition as a senior. The covid situation let him slip by some other schools in my opinion.
Cobb was arguably our top recruit last year, so he is no slouch either.
Maybe these guys are just really good.
I hope Kelly sticks around, but we will see.

I’d love to see Kelly at Qb but I’d bet he’d be a dynamic WR and we need that.
