Let's give Luke, Tik Tok girl, and the Hartford mafia a little credit for adding some variety and interest to what was otherwise just another dismally dull Whitford season.

I would think if he wants to duplicate Blackford experience he should drop down & try either Indiana Wesleyan or IU Kokomo. Both are close enough to bring his high school fans to the games & perhaps get a good amount of money via NIL if they go to the games.

What did we learn today, class? That the gap between IHSAA 1A high school basketball and D1 NCAA college basketball is Grand Canyon wide.... And the ONLY person capable of clearing that chasm is a man named BANE. |

I really hoped he would have been able to carve out a career at BSU. Always just a nice story when a local kid can do that.
I take it as good news on two levels: 1) That Lewis isn't blowing smoke up his ass telling him how good he his, and 2) That Lewis feels pretty confident he can replace him with someone better.
I guess he could always come back, but I'm sure someone out there WILL blow that smoke up his ass so I doubt he'll be back in Cardinal red.

Would love to know the back story on this. Did Coach Lewis encourage him to look for another opportunity? If not, was the door left open for Luke to return to BSU if he doesn’t receive an offer to his liking? As Cardfan posted earlier, maybe there is another quality guard on the verge of committing that caused Luke to look elsewhere. As always, time will tell My strong hunch is that Lewis watched film on him and evaluated him in spring workouts, and then strongly encouraged him to take his game elsewhere. |

Its too bad we couldn't carve a role out for a good shooter like Luke. My guess is he's just not physical enough for the system he wants to put in place. That means limited minutes. Luke probably feels he can do more elsewhere after that discussion. Best to him. Hope it works out.

It's an inconsequential difference. He's just going to dominate...and that's that. |

Proctor is going to have to update us on what happened on the mafia page..There are deleted posts, arguments etc.. Rumors of luke being kicked of etc. I had to be at a track meet and missed it all

Well the main difference there was Bane was literally flying over people dunking on wade and Ollie using his athleticism. He then went to college and became a great shooter. You can learn to shoot your born with the other

The only other hurdle a player must clear is a deadline. Players in fall and winter sports must provide their school with “a written request to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal by May 1.” That May 1 deadline is a cutoff. If a player doesn’t enter the portal by that date, they won’t be eligible for the 2022 season, pending a waiver.
