The stupidity this kid shows is astounding.
For one thing, I don't know what the background of this Youtube channel is. I don't know if they're legit or not. There are a lot of these people out there who use entrapment methods to garner views. Until I see him charged with a crime, I'm not going to get too bent out of shape about it. I didn't watch the entire video, because I couldn't hear much of what was being said, and the camera moved too much.
That said, trying to hook up with a 14 year old (if that's what really happened), online, is really dumb. And once the jig was up, to talk to them is REALLY stupid. Just walk away. Talking will just bring more trouble. That's another problem I have with this Youtuber. They coerced him into talking by essentially extorting him ("Would you rather we show your license plate, or we could just have a conversation.").
So to sum up, no crime was actually committed, and some Youtubers used questionable methods to get clicks.

In the case of PCI Indianapolis, they're fairly well-known and routinely turn their evidence over to local law enforcement, which has resulted in several arrests and convictions (the Lebanon H.S. Band Director being one that recently got some attention). They also nabbed a cop in a recent video, and now they can add a D1 football player to their trophy case. Do they get clicks? They do. Do they mean well? I believe they do. Do they get creeps off the street? In some cases, yes, it would certainly appear that they do. Is what they do without the risk of wrongfully accusing someone? Of course not, but from what I've seen they give the guys a MILE of rope with which to hang themselves, and they only go after men who are 100% intent on meeting minors for sex. Let's hope they don't screw it up.
