It is always fun when breaks go your way and you're ahead or close for a while.
That can make a game close and really dramatic.
But this team doesn't look like the BSU teams that went to Nebraska or Michigan and this isn't the IU team we beat in close ones either.

This game could be closer than you might think. Watch for special team plays and turnovers No, it won't. We've been picked to finish dead last in the MAC west by pretty much every poll for a reason. We lost a lot, we have an unproven QB, and questions about team speed and depth. Our defense will not hold up against UT skill position players and overall team speed. As far as the offense, I'm betting it's mostly dink and dunk and wr screens. Safe stuff and stuff that won't get Paddock killed. Maybe we use the TE's a little. Hard to see our offense generate much against an SEC defense. What I'll be looking for is signs we can play with and beat WMU. The MAC season is what matters, as always. If we are competitive with the best MAC teams this year I'll feel pretty good about that and hope it can get us to 6-6. Do that with all the talent we lost and all the new guys out there, especially the QB and quite a bit of the defense and that'd be a pretty good season. Having to play a MAC game, and it be WMU, so early is not optimal. |

Six starting seniors With only 2 others on the 2 deep that’s about as young as you can get. still gotta win games though
