Will Jones has been here for 12 years..time to give the young kids a look Tenn will easily cover the 35 spread. I don’t think UT covers. This is probably the final margin. I’m guessing 48-24. |

Maybe Im the weird one but this is totally what I expected I thought they would throw up 35 or 40 in the first half which is possible

Actually, aside from the first throw (although he was hit on the release), Paddock is doing ok. I'm a little more encouraged about his ability. He's accurate, throws a good ball, and has a really quick release. He's 12-18 for 82. Considering the opponent, and his inexperience, that's not terrible.

That’s where I’m at. We keep just running Steele up the gut. Are we even trying? Dare I say Steele is really a fullback? We need quicker backs who can run wide. Steele is our best player. RB is not the problem. But yet he's still not wrong. Steele IS a fullback - not a feature back. And IF Steele is our best player then that says a lot. Don't get me wrong, I love the kid - he plays hard and is a darned good player, but dang... |

Some of you guys are delusional. Yeah, we are. But please add some context. This is exactly what we should have expected. I hate Tennessee but they are bigger, stronger, faster, taller, you name it. There isn't any offensive scheme that is going to overcome it. Enjoy the game for what it is. Our boys are playing in one of the biggest stadiums in the country in front of a rowdy crowd, they are getting a great reminder of how far they have to go, and we are returning with a $1.4 million check. Coach Neu is trying some Frank Reich stuff because [meatballs]It just doesn't matter[/meatballs]. And I can't stand passing just because it's sexy. Steele is our best option when he has somewhere to run. Keep mixing it up with lots of Steele. |
