I like Neu and so do the players, but at some point you need to win some games. Besides the fluke 2020 shortened season his tenure has been poor at best. Well under .500 record overall shouldn't be acceptable. We lose so many close games because of coaching and stupid penalties. In year 7 or whatever it is I don't think he should get the excuse of the team being young. If your OC is bad at his job that is also the head coaches fault.

Yet another 4th qtr meltdown in a winnable game under Neu. It’s been a constant. If we could finish we’d have 3 straight bowl seasons coming into this year and now we’ve blown 2 games this year already. We have just generally lacked “it” with this staff and as much as I like Mike it’s just not good enough. I think we win 3 games this year. MAC teams will eat us up. And no, Stockton isn’t all that. Great guy, decent d coordinator, but again , not good enough in crunch time. We have had good enough players to win for 3 quarters but shit goes to hell late WAY too often. That staff is not capable of getting our teams to close out tight games. They just aren’t. They vomit on their shoes and piss down their legs. I agree.not sure where the prob lies. Is it the coaches not putting the players in a position to succeed or the players just not making the plays when they were properly coached up?

I quit. Good luck but I can’t follow any longer. Neu can piss and moan he’s not paid more but 20% of America will be without a job in the next 24 months. He can’t even field a team worthy of my time. I wish I could stop caring. It’s painful to continually lose games in this fashion.

We get to the 4th and suddenly we lose assignment discipline plus commit dumb penalties. That’s on the staff when we do it for 7 straight years. I have absolutely no confidence in the staff. I actually cringe when we take the lead in the 4th because I know what’s coming. Every. Damn. Time. (Like the NIU game last year, or almost blowing the Akron game, or not taking over the Miami game when we could have, or the 4 game stretch at the end of the 2019 season where we just needed one more win for bowl eligibility and blew every one of them, etc etc)

Like clockwork it did. Love my cards but damn it’s brutal.

I’ve been a Cardinal for literally my entire life and as much pain as there’s been for all these years I still can’t walk away. Just can’t.

In my 33 years of life I have been surrounded by Purdue fans.
Always been loyal to the Cards and will continue. Through the good and bad.
Hell I just watched the entire game on my phone from Ross Ade Stadium .
Go Cards. On to next week

It didn’t help that we are constantly settling for field goals inside the 10 yard line. And punting when we really need to go for it and going for it when we really should just punt. Neu decisions and lynch play calling in the red zone. Again, we see it every tight game. The staff chokes. Period. They need to do better For the players.
