A big game that actually meant something!
A shame we were all mostly concentrated on the FB.

Yes it was a big game that illustrated all of the positive qualities of giving it your all. The team could have just quit after back to back losses in sets two and three but didn't. Instead won set four and then in the final lost to a very good BG team who will also give it their all in the NCAA. This match was such a treat to watch. Too bad there are many Ball State football and basketball fans only who continue to poo poo womens sports. I have watched the football and basketball teams for the last 60 years but never have I seen them the past two years lose in such creative and stupendous ways. Yes and those players did quit on themselves and their team. Plitt led team after Central Michigan loss and the basketball teams annual swan dive in Feb. Coaching? You do not see any quit on the women BB and Volleyball teams. Seems to be the same in softball, soccer and field hockey. The womens team was getting blasted by ND but in the third quarter BSU played them almost even. Thelma found her shot as she hit 3 three pointers. Did that loss discourage the team? No. They just killed Utah state 80-55 playing with great energy after a long trip. I am a BSU fan and would watch a paint drying contest if our Cards were involved. I know that many of our athletes would stay until the paint dried and started to peal off. Coaches have a great deal to do to inspire those to not panic, stick with it, show great courage to not go to sleep watching the paint.

Cards have a 56 RPI. Any chance we get selected today?

Cards have a 56 RPI. Any chance we get selected today? A long shot for sure. Just don’t have any wins over teams ranked in Top 50. BSU hasn’t received an at large bid since 2011 when their RPI was 32.

Appears that they gained some respect in the last year. They deserve to be in the tournament.
Chirp Chirp!!!

Overall respect for Ball State volleyball and last year's showing helped. Look at how many head coaches of men and women's volleyball there are who are Ball State volleyball alums.
